Cardinal Bookplates

A lifelong artist and conservationist, Charley Harper expressed his deep appreciation of nature through his design, forming the innovative minimal realism that would become his artistic hallmark. Describing his method of depicting wildlife, Harper once said, I regard the picture as an ecosystem in which all the elements are interrelated, interdependent, perfectly balanced.
