Framed with a ½″ brushed black metal frame, including plexiglass, dry-mount foam-core backing, and hanging hardware.

Originally, the following information was provided along with the poster:

With his skilled hand and keen eye, Cincinnati, Ohio, wildlife artist Charley Harper has transported into this poster the excitement, color, and vibrant life of the Monteverde Cloud Forest which local children shared with Charley and his wife Edie when they visited. Now you, the viewer, have a looking glass into the magic of the world’s most ecologically diverse and fragile forest. Using minimal realism, Charley has depicted 39 of the plants and animals he encountered. If you have been to Monteverde, you can appreciate the uniqueness of the environment through the poster; if you have never been there, we hope it invites you to visit.

The proceeds from your purchase go to the Centro de Educación Creativa (CEC) in Monteverde, Costa Rica, through its U.S. non-profit support group, Cloud Forest School Foundation. The CEC is an environmentally focused, bilingual school situated on 100+ acres of protected land which the school is purchasing from The Nature Conservancy.

Founded in 1991 by local parents hoping to provide a new and unique opportunity for their children, the CEC now educates 130 children, from preschool through 8th grade, with the hope of continued expansion through high school. Its goal is to encourage a new generation of ecologically aware, bilingual people with the skills and motivation to make environmentally sound decisions and create positive change—a new vision for Costa Rican youth, and perhaps, for the world. More than 60% of the students receive substantial financial aid in order to attend this exceptional school. The community and an active parent organization also assist in many ways, as do volunteers and college interns from all over the world who come to help and who receive an incomparable education and experience in return.
