Mid-century modernist Charley Harper (American, 1922–2007), raised on a farm, embodied an ambivalence towards foxes. As a boy he was told to keep an eye on the henhouse, but he preferred to be out in the fields near the foxes’ dens—drawing foxes, not shooting them.
Jewelry is made of solid brass and electroplated with a non-tarnishing silver finish. The delicate chain is 18″ in length.
