- PandaPanda—Lithograph
Behold MOMMA and cub of the Giant Pandas, creatures of extremes. At birth, there’s no greater difference in size between mother and child of any animal in the mammalian world—with baby panda playing catch-up on the growth chart. Then there’s the ying and yang of their diet—99% bamboo, but little else. Not to mention the extreme contrast of their black and white patterning—evolved together eons ago to camouflage the pandas in the gloomy depths of bamboo forest. Once on the endangered species list, pandas have been upgraded to vulnerable status. Now they are a symbol of recovery and peace between nations.
