Woodpecker Earrings

Charley Harper (American, 1922–2007) observed of the red-bellied woodpecker that this is the bird with the belly that baffles beginning birders—its belly is almost ALL WHITE (except for a tiny spot of red). But the red-bellied’s head is red like the red-headed woodpecker.

Jewelry is made of solid brass and electroplated with a non-tarnishing silver finish.

Earrings have hypo-allergenic wires and hang down by 2″.
